Established over 55 years ago, the Union Road Church of Christ is a congregation of Christians devoted to the love of the Lord; a congregation where doctrinal purity is a priority. We strive to be the same church as described in the New Testament, which is the Word of God.

We believe that Christ, the Son of God, purchased the church with His own blood and is the head of the church (Ephesians 1:22-23). As members of His church, the church of Christ, we strive to present ourselves holy and without blemish to Christ as a bride to her husband (Ephesians 5:23-30).

We assemble on each first day of the week (Sunday) to:

• Remember the sacrifice of Christ by partaking of the Lord's Supper
  (Acts 2:42, 20:7).
  
• Wholeheartedly sing songs of praise to God without instrumental accompaniment (Acts 16:25; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Ephesians 5:18,19; Colossians 3:16).
  
• Pray to our Father (Acts 14:23).
  
• Read scriptures (1 Timothy 4:13).
  
• Listen to the preaching of God's word (Acts 20:7).
  

The church is supported by the first day of the week offerings of members of this local congregation (1 Corinthians 16:1,2).
